The Brenham HouseWelcome to our home. The Brenham House was built in the 1920’s on the foundation of what was the first German Lutheran Church of Brenham. Unfortunately, the church was destroyed during the great storm of the 1900’s, leaving the sturdy lime stone steps behind – steps that continue to greet visitors today. |

The Taming of the Shrew delights with disguise, deception & devilment. Shakespeare gives us the improbable courtship of the fiery-tongue Katherine by the arrogant Petruchio. Unlike Shakespeare's other romantic comedies, the play does not stop with the wedding. Shakespeare considers the institution of marriage, the rifts between men & women, & the rough journey toward love. __________________________________________ Labels: Unity Theatre, William Shakespeare Monday, October 13, 2008Barn Dance GalaThe Burton Cotton Gin is the oldest working cotton gin in America.
